In line with our commitment to environmental responsibility, we embrace a circular approach to waste management in Alsera greenhouses. We continuously strive to minimize waste generated during our production processes and maximize recycling efforts. By repurposing waste from our operations, we ensure the efficient reuse of raw materials. At the same time, we actively develop innovative methods and technologies to promote waste reutilization. This approach not only minimizes the environmental footprint of waste but also helps preserve natural resources. We package the products grown in our greenhouses using fully recyclable packaging materials before they reach the market. Any recoverable waste generated during production is sent to licensed recycling facilities. Additionally, plant residues such as leaves and seedlings are processed through a specialized shredder, reducing their volume and facilitating transport. These processed materials are then provided to our partners as raw materials for various applications, including composting and soil enrichment. The compressed coconut peat (coco peat) used in our production is highly adaptable for reuse in other industries, particularly in landscaping and ornamental plant cultivation. By redirecting this material to relevant sectors, we effectively prevent unnecessary waste generation.
